Terms of service

Last updated: 26 September 2026

1. Who provides the service

Shuntflow is provided by [TO COMPLETE: legal name, address and tax ID] ("we"). By installing or using the Shuntflow app for Shopify you agree to these terms. If you install it for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to accept them on its behalf.

2. What Shuntflow does

Shuntflow reads your store's orders, refunds and disputes, calculates risk signals (such as your chargeback and refund rates) and alerts you when a signal changes level. It also offers a checklist to prepare an appeal dossier.

Shuntflow monitors publicly known risk factors and does not represent or replace Shopify Payments' actual risk assessment. Alerts are for guidance only and neither guarantee nor predict the platform's decisions.

Shuntflow does not give legal, financial or compliance advice. Decisions about your business, and about how to respond to Shopify or to any payment provider, remain yours.

3. Plans and billing

There is a free plan and paid plans. What each plan includes and its current price are shown in the app and on its Shopify App Store listing. Paid plans are charged by Shopify on your Shopify bill, under Shopify's billing terms, and may include a free trial.

You can switch to the free plan at any time from the Plans page in the app, without contacting us or uninstalling. The paid subscription is cancelled in Shopify straight away, the paid features stop at that moment, and Shopify credits the unused part of the current billing period on your next bill. Your data, appeal dossiers, custom thresholds and settings are kept; the free plan's limits apply to them. Uninstalling the app also cancels the subscription.

We may change prices for future billing periods; any change is subject to Shopify's approval process for app charges, which asks you to accept the new price.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. Your data

You keep all rights to your store's data. We process it to provide the service as described in our privacy policy. For your customers' data that comes from your orders, you are the controller and we act as your processor, on your instructions and only for providing Shuntflow. Please do not enter your customers' personal data in free-text fields such as dossier notes.

6. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Shuntflow available and accurate, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". Its signals depend on the data Shopify provides and on the permissions you grant: for example, chargebacks can only be monitored for Shopify Payments. We may change, add or remove features; if a change significantly reduces a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or funds held by a payment provider, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for Shuntflow in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending the service

You can stop using Shuntflow at any time by uninstalling it; your store's data is then deleted as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously breached, or stop offering the service with reasonable notice.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email before they apply.

10. Law and jurisdiction
